Swim & Dive teams earn academic recognition

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Both Chapman University swimming & diving teams earned recognition as Scholar All-America teams from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The academic award is announced every semester with both Panther teams earning the recognition for the 11th semester in a row.

The Chapman women's team posted an outstanding 3.52 GPA in the fall 2018 semester and the men together a 3.14 team GPA. The CSCAA honors teams from all divisions of college swimming with a 3.0 team GPA or above.

In total, the CSCAA honored a record of 713 teams from 460 institutions this semester.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
