Toole ends decorated career as CSCAA Scholar All-American

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Recently graduated Kellyn Toole made it a clean four-year sweep as a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American. After three recognitions as Honorable Mention, Toole qualified for the First Team list after her senior year.

The SCIAC and Regional champion on the 1-meter diving board made history as the first Chapman diver to qualify for the NCAA Championships. While having the best diving career in Chapman history, she also maintained a 3.8 GPA until graduating this Spring.

She was one of 1,221 swimmers and divers at all levels of the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA to participate in their respective national championship while maintaining a minimum of a 3.5 GPA.

The diver from Centennial, Colo. certainly left a legacy at Chapman. She was a four-time SCIAC diving champion and seven-time All-SCIAC selection. She won the Regional title on the 1-meter board and took third on the 3-meter board as a senior. Out of the pool, she was recognized with as an Outstanding Senior in the Campus Leadership Awards and was named Chapman Athletics' Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
