Swim & dive teams receive academic accolades

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Chapman University swimming & diving teams were recognized as Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 14th consecutive semester

Chapman's women's team posted an outstanding 3.5 team GPA to once again earn the academic honor. The men's team raised their already solid marks from a year ago with a 3.15 cumulative team GPA at the end of the Spring 2020 semester. The CSCAA honors teams from all divisions of college swimming with a 3.0 team GPA or above.

A total of 789 programs across 461 institutions earned the academic distinction for the Spring 2020 semester that was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
