Fajardo selected as SCIAC Athlete of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Jaryn Fajardo was nominated as the SCIAC Athlete of the Week after a dominating performance on the court this past week. She helped lead the Panthers to a pair of wins over Concordia M'head and McMurray College at the Redlands Tip-Off Classic.

The Torrance native tallied 14 points on 5-for-14 shooting to help Chapman to a 62-54 victory over Concordia on Friday. She also posted 19 points against McMurray in the Panthers' 69-60 victory on Saturday. The junior went 4-for-10, shooting 40% and draining one three. In her 33 minutes of play, she also went 10-for-12 on free throws.
