Criswell named preseason All-American

ORANGE, Calif. – Reigning SCIAC Athlete of the Year Lucy Criswell has been named a preseason All-American by D3hoops.com. The award follows a breakout sophomore season in which Criswell also earned All-West Region First team honors from D3hoops.com.

Last season, Criswell led the Panthers to a SCIAC Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament berth with 15.1 points per game and a 42.8 percent three-point shooting percentage. She was recognized as the top player in the conference and was one of two underclassmen to earn a spot on the All-SCIAC First Team.

Criswell earned a spot on the Fourth Team and is the only player from the SCIAC to be recognized on the national team.

The Panthers kick off their season with a game against Illinois College at the Redlands Tip-Off Classic on Friday, Nov. 9.
