An impressive number of Chapman University student-athletes were again recognized for their work in the classroom. The Panthers placed 178 student-athletes on the SCIAC’s annual All-Academic team, the conference announced on Thursday.

Sophomore Emily Lewis led the Chapman University women’s golf team with a 10th-place finish at SCIAC #2. The Panthers took sixth as a team but shaved two strokes off their team score from day one to day two.

Freshman Kristy Harada and sophomore Emily Lewis matched their best rounds of the season to finish in the top-5 and lead the Chapman University women’s golf team at the CLU Regals Invitational. The Panthers finished fourth as a team in the seven-team tournament.

Sophomore Emily Lewis shot a team-best six-over par to lead the Chapman University women’s golf team in a dual with Long Beach State. The Panthers shot a 360 as a team to finish 72-over par.

The Chapman University women’s golf team took sixth in its first SCIAC tournament of the spring season. In its first trip to SCIAC #1, the Panthers shaved 13 strokes from day one to day two.

The Chapman University women’s golf team finished fourth overall at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Invite this weekend. The Panthers improved in day two, shooting a team total 675 (+99).

The Chapman University women's golf team finished eighth overall in the program’s first ever collegiate competition at the CA State Intercollegiate at Diamond Valley Golf Club. The Panthers carded a 747 (+171) overall in the Panthers NCAA Division III debut after facing difficult weather conditions.

ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University Athletics will add women’s golf as its 21st varsity sport for the 2016-17 school year. The addition of a women’s golf team is the third sport to be added to the Donald P. Kennedy Intercollegiate Athletics Program in the last five years.
