Women's golf takes fourth, Lee third individually at MJGA Invitational
The Chapman University women's golf team finished fourth overall at the 6th Annual MJGA Invitational with sophomore Kristen Lee earning a spot in the top-3. The Panthers shot a 679 (+103) to earn them fourth place out of eight in the two day tournament.
Lee led the Panthers with 158 (+14) swinging an 82 (+10) the first day but rebounded in the second round by tying for the lowest round of the day. She shot a four-over 76 on day two to launch into third place on the leaderboard.
Junior Lauren Settle also finished in the top-10, tying for ninth with a 166 (+22) over the two rounds. Sophomore Sydnee DiMascio tied for 15th with a 172 (+28).
Senior Haylie Bantle took 29th overall for the Panthers, shooting an 89-94 over the two days. Juior Brooke Leet finished 33rd.
The Panthers head out out to the Bulldog Invitational on Mar. 30-31.
