Zuppa earns SCIAC weekly honors

ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Stacy Zuppa earned SCIAC Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Panthers to a big win over Pomona-Pitzer with one of her biggest matches of the year.

Zuppa tied a season best in both goals and draw controls this past Saturday against Pomona-Pitzer. The junior scored four goals, tying her previous season-high that she set against Occidental earlier in the season. She also tallied six draw controls, again tying a season-high that she set earlier this year against Whittier.

The Colorado native ranks second on the team with 32 points, having scored 17 goals and tallying 15 assists in just eight matches.
