Lambrakis named to All-West Region team

ORANGE, Calif. - Chapman University women's soccer player Stephanie Lambrakis has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-West Region team for the 2008 season. The junior was one of four forwards named to the third team.

Lambrakis was Chapman's top playmaker leading the team with seven assists and ranked second on the team with five goals and 17 total points - all career highs. She recorded four multi-point games and scored the game-winning goal in the Panthers' 3-2 win over St. Olaf College (Minn.) in October.

It's the first such honor for Lambrakis, who last month was also named to the All-Independents team. Lambrakis is the third Chapman player in the past three years named to the All-West Region team by the NSCAA.
