Seniors go out on top with 3-0 win over La Verne

The Chapman University women’s soccer team and its four seniors – Rosie Chinen, Bree Sasaki, Kate Lilly and Chloe Canta – topped the University of La Verne 3-0 in the final game of the season on Wednesday night at Wilson Field.

Down 1-0 with 13 minutes left in regulation, the Chapman University women’s soccer team tied and then won the game with a pair of goals 10 minutes apart, defeating visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College 2-1 at Wilson Field on a wet Wednesday evening.

The Panthers were shutout over the final 81 minutes and now must hit the road for their next four matches in search of their first victory of the season.
