ORANGE, Calif.– Chapman University women's soccer players Kristin Kleinow and Haley Fedden have been named to the 2014 Division III All-West Region second team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America last week.

Kleinow sophomore goal keeper earned second team honors after leading the SCIAC with 114 saves in 19 games. The goalie recorded five shutouts, a goals-against average of 1.32 and ranks second in total career saves in Chapman history with 153.  Kleinow earned first team selection to the All-SCIAC Women's Soccer team earlier this year.

Fedden a junior was also recognized for anchoring the Chapman midfield with 1,685 minutes this season. Fedden ranks third on the all-time career list with 5,183 minutes played. Fedden recorded one goal and two assists this season and was named to the All-SCIAC team for a second year in a row.

The SCIAC was well represented by the All-West Region team with nine athletes, including four players from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps receiving Division III honors.

The NSCAA administers an annual awards and recognition program which includes Coach of the Year, All-America, long-term service and special recognition awards designed to recognize excellence in soccer, academics and service to the game.
