Women's soccer earns College Team Academic Award from NSCAA

ORANGE, Calif. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America recognized the Chapman University women's soccer team for its work in the classroom during the 2014-15 school year.

Every fall, the NSCAA recognizes all men's and women's soccer teams to earn above a 3.0 team GPA during the previous school year. This year, 859 teams (305 men, 554 women) earned the College Team Academic Award.

The Panthers posted a team GPA of 3.47 to earn the award for the sixth time in program history. The 2014 Panthers placed 13 student-athletes on the SCIAC All-Academic team, which honors student-athletes with a 3.4 GPA and higher.
