Pair of Panthers named to All-SCIAC Second Team

ORANGE, Calif. – A pair of Panthers were named to the All-SCIAC Team on Wednesday morning. Junior Lindsay Erl and sophomore Faith Holloway were both recognized for their work on the field, earning Second Team honors for the second year in a row.

In her third year with the Panthers, Erl led the team with five goals and 13 points. The Rocklin, Calif. native also had three assists this year, tying for second on the team in the category. She had a career-best season, setting career highs in goals, assists, and points. The midfielder started every game she appeared in this season, missing one game due to injury. She scored one game-winning goal this season in a victory over Redlands.

Holloway received her second selection to the All-SCIAC Second Team in just as many years. The sophomore was rock-solid on the back line for the Panthers again this season. Her only goal of the season was a game-winner against Redlands, when she headed the ball into the back of the net off a corner from fellow teammate and Rocklin, Calif. native Erl. Holloway has appeared in every game the past two years, earning a start in 17 out of the 18 games she played this season.
