2018 CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America Faith Holloway

Holloway selected as Academic All-American

ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Faith Holloway earned Google Cloud Academic All-America honors for her work on and off the field this season. Members of the College Sports Information Directors of America selected Holloway to the Third Team after a stellar third season with the Panthers.

Holloway anchored the back line for the third consecutive season, starting every match of the 2018 season. The Rocklin native helped the Panthers post eight shutouts this season while holding opponents to a 1.04 goals-against average.

Not only did Holloway get the job done on the field, but she also put in the work in the classroom. She is posting a perfect 4.00 grade point average through two years at Chapman in one of the hardest majors the University has to offer, Biological Sciences.

Holloway earned a third consecutive All-SCIAC award after her work for the Panthers this season. The defender also earned Academic All-District honors prior to her All-America selection and is the only student-athlete from the SCIAC to be recognized for this prestigious honor.

The junior is set to return to her starting role on the back line for the Panthers in the 2019 season.
