Holloway selected to Academic All-America First Team

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Faith Holloway added one final prestigious award to her long list over the last four years – CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team.

The defender is no stranger to the Academic All-America list after earning Third Team honors in the 2018 season. Holloway has posted a perfect 4.0 GPA with a Biological Sciences major, one of the toughest Chapman has to offer.

The Rocklin, Calif. native is a four-time All-SCIAC honoree, including a First Team selection in her junior campaign. Holloway is also a two-time All-West Region selection after anchoring the Chapman women's soccer team all four years.

The two-time team captain started 70 of the 72 matches she played in over her four years, appearing in 14 matches this season. In her final season, she scored a career-high three goals and helped the Panthers to an 11-4-3 overall record and a No. 3 seed in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament. She helped Chapman post 10 shutouts and rank 10th in the nation with a 0.890 goals-against average.
