Urrabazo, Harper earn All-SCIAC honors

ORANGE, Calif. – A pair of Panthers represented the Chapman University women's soccer team on the All-SCIAC teams. Freshman forward Jenna Urrabazo and junior defender Emma Harper each earned their first career All-SCIAC honors as Urrabazo earned First Team recognition and Harper was named to the Second Team.

For the second year in a row, a Chapman forward led the SCIAC in scoring during the conference season. Urrabazo scored five goals and added two assists for a conference-leading 12 points. She scored one game-winner for the Panthers, knocking in the only goal of the match in a win at Occidental. She also scored crucial goals that led Chapman to 1-1 draws on the road against Whittier, Caltech and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Her six total goals this season led the Panthers and ranked fourth in the SCIAC.

Harper earned her first career postseason honor after anchoring the back line for Chapman for the second full season in a row. She started every match for the Panthers this year and scored her first career goal. She headed in a corner kick to tie up the match at Pomona-Pitzer in the second half. She has played in all but two games over the last three years.

The Panthers finished the season in sixth place in the SCIAC while setting the program records for draws in a season.
