Toole earns weekly SCIAC award after opening dual

ORANGE, Calif. – Junior Kellyn Toole was selected as the SCIAC Athlete of the Week after her strong performance in the first dual meet of the season against Cal Lutheran. She won both the 3-meter and 1-meter dive events in the women's narrow 112-109 loss to the Regals.

After finishing 7th and 8th on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at NCAA Regionals last year, the Centennial, Colo. native posted an NCAA qualifying mark with her winning score of 285.35 on the 3-meter board. She won the 1-meter board event with a score of 250.65. This is the third year in a row that Toole has been awarded SCIAC Athlete of the Week.
