ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's tennis team wrapped up a busy two-week stretch that included seven home matches in 14 days with a 9-0 shutout win over visiting Lewis & Clark College on Saturday evening at the Chapman Tennis Courts. The win gave the Panthers an above-.500 home stand, going 4-3 during the two weeks and climbing into the top-30 in NCAA Division III.

Chapman (7-5) earned its third shutout of the season and has now won four of its past six matches heading back into conference play on Friday with a road match at No. 5-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The Panthers were led by No. 1 singles sophomore Andrea Hammer who won in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 to improve to 5-7 in dual matches this spring.
