Women's tennis closes stellar regular season with senior day victory

ORANGE, Calif. — Women's tennis capped off its regular season with a senior day victory over Colorado College, 7-2.

The Panthers captured two out of the three doubles points as Aliya Allyn and Alexis Golin won second doubles 8-4 and Goldie La and Olivia Desso won 8-1.

The Panthers would win first through fifth singles, all in straight sets, except for Allyn who completed a comeback victory, 4-6, 6-1 and 10-9.

Other wins included La —  7-5, 7-5 —  Golin —  6-3, 6-0 — Lucy Erickson — 6-4, 6-2 — and Desso — 6-2, 6-2.  

Chapman now readies for the SCIAC tournament, which it will be a part of for the first time since 2018, against No. 1 seeded Claremont-M-S on Friday, Apr. 28.
