Belanger breaks 21-year old school record in 400m

Wendy Belanger accomplished what she set out to do on Sunday in Chapman's final track meet of the season. The sophomore did not let a sore throat get in the way of breaking a 21-year old school record in the 400-meters and ran it in 1:01.26 at the U.C. Irvine/Steve Scott Invitational on Sunday.

The Chapman University women's track team has improve with each race this season. But the results at the U.C. San Diego Track & Field Invitational on Saturday were just plain impressive as the Panthers set eight personal records in all.
