Panthers perform well at Pomona-Pitzer All Comers
CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Chapman University women's track team received some strong individual performances in its second meet of the season at the Pomona-Pitzer Colleges All Comers meet on Saturday.
Sophomore Kate Emery ran the 400-meter dash in a time of 69.88 to place 16th overall in the event, one of Chapman's leaders in the day. Meanwhile, junior Tori Rose crossed just two places back of Emery with a time of 70.68.
A pair of freshmen, Jessie Drews and Lisa Balducci finished back-to-back in the 800-meter run with times of 2:47.84 and 2:54.01 respectively.
Also, senior hurdler Brooke Brisbois placed third in the 400-meter hurdles for the Panthers with a time of 1:30.43
