Relay team highlights Cal-Nevada Championships

ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University's women's 4x400 meter relay team set a season-best time highlighting the Panthers participation at the Cal-Nevada Track and Field Championships, hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday and Sunday.

Chapman's relay team of freshmen Darcy Hardwick and Lisa Peterkin, sophomore Paola Pratt and junior Peyton Collins ran the race in 4:17.58, nearly a second faster than their previous season-best also set in Claremont on March 3.

Peterkin's time of 2:29.38 in the 800 meters was the third consecutive race she has improved her finishing time, marking another personal record.

Collins also set a season-best with a time of 1:09.37 in the 400 meter hurdles.
