Graham Asalone, Men's Water Polo

Graham Asalone helped lead the men’s water polo team to two home wins this week, contributing a total of eight goals and eight assists. The Carlsbad, Calif. native’s first of three goals against Occidental on Wednesday night tied the match back up to 4-4 and sparked a four-goal flurry which led the Panthers to win 13-9. 

The sophomore attacker started off Saturday’s game against Redlands strong, opening up the scoring with his first of five goals only three minutes into the first quarter. Asalone also tallied three assists, three earned ejections and two steals in the match to help the team take home a 13-11 victory. Asalone leads the Panthers with 35 goals and 19 assists in nine contests this season.
