Chapman (7-1) at Whittier (2-6)
Saturday, November 15, 2014
Memorial Stadium
  1 p.m.

Game Notes:

• After rushing for 206 yards and three touchdowns last Saturday, junior RB Jeremiah McKibbins moved within striking distance of two Chapman rushing records. McKibbins (25) sits just one rushing TD behind Darnell Morgan (26) for first place on the all-time list. And his 2,039 career rushing yards are 294 yards shy of Chase Twedell's 2,333 yards.

• After senior QB Michael Lahey threw for 138 yards against Redlands, he moved into third place for CU's career passing list with 3,710 yards. He currently owns three Panther records: pass efficiency (165.0), average yards/pass (8.6 yds) and completion percentage (72.6 percent).

• While the Panthers are headed to the NCAA playoffs for the first time in their 20-year history, they would like to clinch the SCIAC crown outright with a win over Whittier. They've secured at least a tie for the conference title and (owning the tiebreaker) earned an automatic postseason berth. The Panthers will learn their fate on Sunday, Nov. 14.

• The Panthers are riding a seven-game winning streak, second only to the school record of 13 in a row set from 1995-96. Chapman has also won eight consecutive games on the road and nine straight within the SCIAC. The Panthers are 21-3 in SCIAC play since joining the conference in 2012.

• Chapman has won three straight games against the Poets and owns a 14-3 advantage in the all-time series. The Panthers' 14 wins mark their most versus any SCIAC team.

• Climbing once again, Chapman now sits at No. 23 in the AFCA Coaches Poll and No. 20 in the D3football.com poll, both program bests.
