Deeb earns All-America honors

ORANGE, Calif. - Junior Elias Deeb earned D3football.com All-America Second Team honors this afternoon after a stellar performance this season. The honor comes after the punter was selected to the All-West Region First Team and the All-SCIAC First Team earlier this year.

Deeb helped the Panthers rank second in the nation in net punting, averaging 37.56 net punting yards per game. He averaged a career-high 42.0 yards per punt, ranking first in the SCIAC and fourth in the nation.

The Newport Beach native was crucial in reversing field position for the Panthers this season. Deeb pinned opponents inside their own 20-yard line 13 times this season while putting just one punt in the end zone for a touchback.

This is Deeb's second All-America recognition after being honored as an All-American Honorable Mention after the 2016 season.
