Wise, Tso finish under par to start spring

MOORPARK, Calif. – Senior Bryan Wise and sophomore Griffin Tso led the field in the first men's golf match of the spring season at Tierra Rejada. The Chapman University men's golf team faced off against Cal Lutheran with all players competing as individuals.

Tso and Wise were the only golfers to finish under par as both carded a one-under 71 for their first spring round. Sophomore Harrison Holetz took fifth when he finished three-over par and classmate Zach Gellens tied for seventh with a six-over 78.

The Panthers first team competition is just over a week away with the first two-round SCIAC tournament of the spring teeing off Feb. 18-19 at Brookside Country Club.
