Men's golf kicks off 2021 season

VENTURA, Calif. – The Chapman University men's golf team finished eighth as a team scoring 893 (+29) at the California State Intercollegiate Tournament. Freshman Bradley Lu and sophomore Charlie Shumway led the Panthers individually.

Lu finished the three-round tournament tied for 12th after scoring a 215 (-1) followed by Shumway who tied for 23rd scoring 220 (+4). 

Freshman Dylan Horowitz finished with 223 (+7) alongside Connor Frandzel who ended with 243 (+27). Chapman sophomore Ian Egstrom ended the three-round match with 238 (+22). 

The Panthers compete in their first SCIAC tournament on Sat., Oct. 2 at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course.
