Lu named SCIAC Men's Golfer of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Bradley Lu has been named the SCIAC Men's Golfer of the Week after leading the Chapman University men's golf team at the UC San Diego Invitational last week.

In the three-round tournament against a field full of Division I opponents, Lu shot a 229 (+13) to lead the Panthers. He improved in each round and stayed under-80 in all three rounds.

Lu opened with a six-over 78 and followed it up with a 76 (+4) in his second round of 18 holes on day one of the tournament. In the third round the next day, Lu shaved off another stroke to card a three-over 75.

Lu's average of 74.5 strokes per round leads Chapman this season.

The Panthers are back on the course on April 8-9 for SCIAC #2.
