Wilkins lands All-SCIAC First Team honors

ORANGE, Calif. – Caleb Wilkins was selected to the All-SCIAC First Team after a standout season leading the Chapman University men's tennis team. Wilkins played every match at the top of the Panthers' singles and doubles lineup.

Wilkins went 13-4 in dual matches this season, including a 4-3 mark through the difficult SCIAC schedule. During the conference season, all of his matches were played in straight sets.

In doubles, the junior from Long Beach, Calif., went 2-5 in SCIAC matches. He earned wins alongside Mac Caldwell over Whittier's and Cal Lutheran's top doubles teams.

The Panthers finished the season in sixth place in the SCIAC standings.

With a high regional ranking, Wilkins will be in consideration for an individual invite to the NCAA Championships. The field will be announced on Wednesday in a press release on NCAA.com.
