Chapman Athletics hosted another Town Hall on July 28 for student-athletes and their families to deliver updates and answer question on the impact of the cancellation of high-risk sports through the end of the school year.

In accordance with public health guidance and safety standards, as well as NCAA Resocialization recommendations, the SCIAC Presidents have unanimously agreed to cancel conference competition for NCAA categorized high-contact risk sports in the fall semester.
Chapman sets new high for SCIAC All-Academic selections

Nearly half of Chapman University student-athletes were recognized when the SCIAC released its annual All-Academic list today. Chapman set a new program high with 250 SCIAC All-Academic selections, far surpassing the previous high of 221.

Foisy swipes 100th stolen base in doubleheader split

Senior Michaela Foisy reached the century mark for stolen bases as the Chapman University softball team split a doubleheader with Whittier, losing 5-0 and winning 8-5. Foisy has already far surpassed the previous school record and became the first Panther with 100 stolen bases in her 132nd career game.

The Chapman University softball team cruised to an 8-0 win in five innings over visiting Occidental on Friday to open a three-game SCIAC series. Senior Christine LoVerde drove in three runs while junior Mykala Tokunaga was dominant in the circle.
Hartmann deals, softball splits doubleheader

The Chapman University softball team split a doubleheader with visiting Hope International on Tuesday. The Panthers took the first game 7-6 but fell 5-1 in the nightcap.
Softball swept in SCIAC doubleheader

The Chapman University softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to visiting Redlands, 7-5 and 8-3. The Bulldogs swept the season series from the Panthers.

Softball drops home-opener to CMS

The Chapman University softball team fell 6-0 to visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in its home- and SCIAC-opener on Friday. The Panthers and Athenas opened a three-game SCIAC series that moves to Claremont, Calif. tomorrow.
Softball set to open 2020 season

The first pitch of 2020 will be tossed out on Saturday when the Chapman University softball team takes the field at Vanguard. The Panthers bring back a solid core of returners in the lineup and in the circle.
