Both swim & dive teams recognized as CSCAA Scholar All-America teams

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's and women's swimming & diving teams were both recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America as Scholar All-America teams for their work in the classrooms following the spring semester.

Both Panther teams achieved above a 3.0 team GPA for the Spring 2016 semester to earn the recognition. The women's team posted a 3.49 team GPA this semester while the men's team combined for a 3.29 GPA.

The CSCAA recognized 658 teams representing 388 colleges and universities this spring. Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
