Toole set to make history at NCAAs

ORANGE, Calif. – Senior Kellyn Toole etched her name into the record book as a freshman and furthered her legacy as a senior. Toole is set to become the first Chapman diver to complete at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships this week.

Toole will dive on the 3-meter board on Wednesday morning and the 1-meter board on Friday morning. Live video will be available to watch both events on NCAA.com.

The senior from Centennial, Colo. qualified for Regionals in all four years as a Panthers and culminated her career with regional title on the 1-meter board just a few weeks ago. The day prior to her title, she made history with a third-place finish on the 3-meter board and became the first Panther diver to qualify for nationals.

The national meet with feature 29 divers from across the country on both boards. Each diver will perform 11 dives in the morning preliminary round. The top-8 will move on the final round in the evening where each will perform her six Optional dives again.

The preliminary diving session begins at 9:45 a.m. (PT) each morning. The diving consolation finals begin immediately following the preliminaries and the championship final will be part of the evening finals session.
