Bio

Eric Lesser joined the Chapman swim & dive staff for the 2019-20 season, taking over the diving program. He comes to the Panthers as an accomplished coach and collegiate diver.

Lesser was most recently the Head Diving Coach at nearby Troy High School and a volunteer coach at McCormick Diving Club. He has achieved certifications for coaching and judging at USA Diving and AAU Diving for local and national competitions.

A product of Orange County, Lesser was a four-time All-American at Capistrano Valley High School and two-time USA Diving Age Group champion. He moved on to dive for four years at the University of Michigan, winning Big Ten titles in all four years. He was a six-time All-American at Michigan and helped the Wolverines to a seond-place team finish at the NCAA Championships his senior year.
