Bio

As the head diving coach for the University of California at Irvine for nine seasons, the UCI Dive Team had an impressive 38 wins and only 2 losses in the Conference Championships from 2000 through 2009.

As a diver, Curt Wilson is a two-time CIF High School Diving Champion and five-time California State Champion. Curt competed in the NCAA Championships for both the University of Michigan and UCLA and became a Pac-10 3-meter diving champion. He has also competed Nationally and Internationally in the sport of diving. Curt graduated from Pitzer College in California with a BA in Organizational Studies and continues to be the Director - Head Coach for the Crown Valley Divers since 1989, where he has helped facilitate scholarships and admittance to most of the preferred Colleges and Universities in America.

Curt has worked with many Olympic and International Coaches as both diver and coach. Curt was the Team Coach for the 2000 East-West All Star International Team that traveled to Europe and successfully won the Amsterdam Cup. Curt has done many diving commercials and was recruited as the Head Coach and Diving expert for the Fox Television Special, “Stars in Danger: High Diving”. Formerly a member of United States Diving’s Board of Directors, President of the Professional Diving Coaches Association, President of the Southern Pacific Association and Rules Chair for Junior Olympic Diving.

Curt has also participated on the selection committee for High School All-American Divers and continues to help local divers achieve High School Diving All American success.
