Panthers wrap up regular season at SCIAC Multi Dual #3

LA VERNE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's and women's track and field team continued strong showings on Saturday at the SCIAC Multi-Dual #3 to conclude the Panthers regular season competition.

Junior Mitchell Bouldin continued to sweep the competition in the men's long jump with a final mark of 6.83 meters, edging the competition by .11 meters. Bouldin now ranks second in SCIAC with that mark.

The 4x100m men's relay team combined for a 3:30.72 to finish sixth. The team comprised of freshman Philip Bui, sophomore Ian Craddock, and juniors Ethan Weinstein and Sam Baker.

On the women's side freshman Mia Hernandez ran well in the 1500 meter setting a personal-best of 5:20.52 to finish in the top-10. The freshman also paced the Panthers in the 800 meter run with a final time of 2:40.20.

Between the lanes, senior Lauren Deats continued to improve in the 200 meter dash with a final time of 26.76 to finish in the top-four.  

Springing for Chapman, sophomore Gina Pasquinelli set a personal-best in the women's long jump with a mark of 4.97m. Freshman Courtney Justus finished right behind her with season-best mark of 4.93m.  

Chapman will travel to the SCIAC Championships on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30 at Occidental, hosted by Caltech.
