Charles named Female SCIAC Athlete of the Week again

Junior Megan Charles had a pair of big games to help the Panthers continue on their tear through the SCIAC. She scored 17 points in a win over La Verne on Thursday and followed it up with a 21-point night at Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. Charles also averaged four rebounds and 2.5 steals per game last week as the Panthers win streak reached six.

The Tarzana native is averaging 14.5 ppg to rank second in the SCIAC. She has scored double-digits for the Panthers in six straight wins and 19 games this season.

The Panthers have won 13 of the last 14 and remain tied for second in the SCIAC. This is the second SCIAC Athlete of the Week nod for Charles this season.
