Campas awarded SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week

ORANGE, Calif. – Sophomore Julianna Campas helped lead the Chapman University women's basketball team to a dominant 86-59 win over Caltech this week, earning SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week.

The guard put up 20 points in the victory, shooting 7-of-15 from the field and 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. She also added three rebounds, four assists and two steals in the Panthers' first SCIAC victory of the season.

This is the Novato, Calif. native's fourth consecutive double-digit point game and she is averaging 27.2 minutes per game.

The Panthers take this week off before heading to Whittier, Calif. for the Purple and Gold Poet Classic on Sunday, Dec. 15 and Monday, Dec. 16. They return home after the holiday break for a SCIAC matchup against Cal Lutheran on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 4 p.m.
