September Mirghanbari joined the Chapman golf coaching staff prior to the 2017-18 school year, working primarily with the women's team. In Mirghanbari's two years with the Panthers, the women's team has finished both season in the top half of the highly competitive SCIAC and sent its first-ever golfer to the NCAA Division III National Championships in just the third year in program history.
Before joining Chapman, Mirghanbari spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as a member of the women’s golf team at Orange Coast College as a student-athlete. She earned a spot at the SoCal Regionals each season. She considers herself a player’s coach.
Mirghanbari received her Bachelor’s of Science in psychology from the University of Houston.
Above all else, Mirghanbari considers herself a Life Coach. Her coaching principles embrace building trust and confidence so that each athlete can be at their peak performance. “I’ve been a student athlete in a few sports and understand the enormous demands placed on them. I’m excited to be at Chapman to help our athletes achieve their own personal goals and have a lot of fun in the process.”
Mirghanbari resides in Huntington Beach and has one daughter, Sierra.
