Every team over a 3.2, 270 recognized as SCIAC All-Academic

The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.

Six student-athletes from the Chapman University women’s golf team were recognized as All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. The six qualifiers for the annual academic award account for 75 percent of the roster.

Women's golf takes sixth at SCIAC Championships

Men’s and women’s golf competed at the SCIAC #2 tournament this weekend at Mountain Meadows Golf Club, ending with both teams placing seventh.

Amongst a field of some of the best teams in Division III, the Chapman University women’s golf team took seventh at the Westbrook Invitational. Sophomore Emily Cho led the Panthers in 20th individually.

Golf took to the links over the weekend at El Dorado Golf Course in the SCIAC #1 tournament. The Panthers saw the women finish fifth and the men finish sixth.

Chapman golf took to Los Serranos Golf Club in Chino Hills on Sunday and Monday to take on Occidental and La Verne in the Chapman Quad tournament.

The Chapman University women’s golf team travelled up to Olivas Links for its fall tournament at the CA State Intercollegiate. The Panthers ended the two-round tournament in seventh place. Sophomore Emily Cho led the way for Chapman with a career-low round.

A record number of Chapman student-athletes earn SCIAC All-Academic

Chapman University student-athletes set a new school record with 281 individuals earning SCIAC All-Academic recognition. The 281 individuals to earn the annual academic recognition are 22 more than year’s record-breaking number. The SCIAC annually recognizes student-athletes who have been at their institution for at least one academic year and finished the school year with a 3.4 cumulative GPA or better.
