Women's lacrosse latest to gain academic recognition

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team became the latest Chapman team to earn academic recognition with five individuals also being recognized. The Panthers were honored as one of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Associations’ Academic Honor Squads.
221 Panthers honored as SCIAC All-Academic

Chapman University’s student-athletes matched their record number with 221 SCIAC All-Academic selections in for the 2018-19 school year. The Panthers had the fourth-most selections of the nine schools in the SCIAC.
Zahn finishes career with Academic All-America accolade

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the 2019 All-Region teams this afternoon. Senior Danielle Zahn earned a spot on the All-West Region Second Team after a record-breaking season for the Panthers.

The awards keep rolling in for senior Chapman women’s lacrosse student-athlete Danielle Zahn. The midfielder earned CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District honors earlier this afternoon for her work on the field and in the classroom.

The Chapman University women’s lacrosse season came to an end with an 18-6 loss in the SCIAC semifinal at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Junior Leah Donnelly scored four of the Panthers’ six goals.

Four members of the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team were awarded All-SCIAC selections earlier this morning. Senior Danielle Zahn and junior Ally Kroeckel earned spots on the First Team while senior Shelby Thompson and freshman Meg Hanson earned Second Team honors.

Zahn ties school record for second game in a row

Senior Danielle Zahn tied the school record for goals scored in a single game – for the second game in a row. Just Saturday afternoon Zahn tied the record, scoring seven goals and leading a comeback effort against Redlands. This time, the captain scored seven as the Panthers rolled past Kalamazoo College 15-8.

Women’s lacrosse completes eight-goal comeback to defeat Redlands

Senior Danielle Zahn tied the school record and scored seven goals as the Panthers came back from down eight goals to beat the visiting Redlands Bulldogs 22-17 earlier this afternoon. The captain also tallied an assist in the winning effort to lead Chapman to a crucial victory.
Women's lacrosse suffers close loss to Framingham State

Neither team led by more than two goals but the Chapman University women’s lacrosse team fell 13-12 to visiting Framingham State on Thursday. The Panthers tied the match twice in the second half but weren’t able to overtake the Rams.
