Senior MB Kat Marusich led all players with a season-high 17 kills to pace Chapman offensively and also added an assisted block – her team-leading 40th of the year. Senior OH Michele Hammer earned a double-double with 16 kills and 19 digs as well for Chapman.

Meanwhile, senior MB Val Geiger moved into second place on Chapman's all-time career kills list with 11 on Friday night to give her 1,150 for her career. The two-time All-American added four blocks (two solo, two assists) in the win.

Senior libero Andi Frisina set career-high with 10 assists and 40 digs on a night with many back-and-forth rallies between the two teams.
