Chapman Athletics hosted another Town Hall on July 28 for student-athletes and their families to deliver updates and answer question on the impact of the cancellation of high-risk sports through the end of the school year.

In accordance with public health guidance and safety standards, as well as NCAA Resocialization recommendations, the SCIAC Presidents have unanimously agreed to cancel conference competition for NCAA categorized high-contact risk sports in the fall semester.

Chapman sets new high for SCIAC All-Academic selections

Nearly half of Chapman University student-athletes were recognized when the SCIAC released its annual All-Academic list today. Chapman set a new program high with 250 SCIAC All-Academic selections, far surpassing the previous high of 221.

Cross country finishes 2019 season at West Regionals

The Chapman University men’s and women’s cross country teams finished up the 2019 season at the NCAA Division III West Regionals earlier this morning at Pomona-Pitzer. Freshman Maddie Mirro missed All-Region honors by just eight seconds, taking 36th place overall in the women’s race.

Cross country ties best finishes in program history at SCIAC Championships

The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the SCIAC Championships earlier this morning at Pomona-Pitzer. Both squads tied their best team finishes in program history, with the men taking seventh overall while the women took sixth place out of the nine conference teams.
