Three selected to D3football.com All-Region team

ORANGE, Calif. – Seniors Dillon Keefe and Alex Waddell repeated as D3football.com All-Region selections while junior Owen Tapia earned his first All-Region nod. The three Panther picks comprised half of the SCIAC 's six total selections.

Keefe was selected to the First Team for the second consecutive season after leading the SCIAC with a career-best 11 total sacks. He set the Chapman career record with 43 tackles for loss, making13.5 behind the line this season. He forced four fumbles this year and began the year with an interception return for a touchdown. In his career, Keefe has a rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown, a fumble recovery for a TD and a pick six. He was the SCIAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row.

Waddell anchored the offensive line as the Panthers' right tackle and earned a Second Team selection for the second season in a row. Waddell and the offensive line allowed just four sacks all season – the least in the nation. The Panthers averaged 450 yard of offense per game while averaging over five yards per carry in the running game. Waddell also earned his second career All-SCIAC selection.

Tapia was the Third Team punter after averaging nearly 41 yards per punt this season. He landed 12 of his 33 punts inside the 20 yard line with 10 of 33 resulting in a fair catch. His average of 40.9 per punt was a career-best for the junior. In his 72 career punts over three seasons, he is averaging 40.8 yards. He hit a long punt of 55 yards this season and had a punt of at least 50 yards in four different games.

The Panthers finished the season with a 7-3 overall record and in second place in the SCIAC standings.
