Wall named Offensive Athlete of the Year, two Panthers All-SCIAC

ORANGE, Calif. – A breakout season for senior Aidan Wall was rewarded with SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Year honors. The SCIAC announced the 2021 All-Conference teams on Tuesday with Wall headlining the picks and sophomore Treyden Buder-Naksone joining him on the Second Team.

Despite missing four matches with an injury, Wall led the SCIAC with 10 goals and 20 points during the conference season to land his first career postseason honor. His seven overall game-winners (with six coming in SCIAC matches) tied the school record and led the conference. He was also the SCIAC leader with 40 shots taken and three penalty kicks made on three chances. Wall more than doubled his career scoring total to 23 goals this season, moving into the top-25 in Chapman history with 46 career points.

Buder-Nakasone earned All-SCIAC Second Team honors in his first year of collegiate competition. The outside defender from Honolulu, Hawaii started in 15 matches during the SCIAC season. He helped the Panthers record five shutouts in the SCIAC the season – the second-most in the conference.

The Panthers earned the No. 4 seed in this week's SCIAC Tournament and will head back to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps to take on the top-seeded Stags in the semifinals on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
