Men's tennis falls to Pomona-Pitzer
ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University men's tennis team fell 7-2 to visiting Pomona-Pitzer on Friday. The Panthers pulled out a pair of three set wins in singles.
The 10th-ranked Sagehens swept through doubles and the first four singles matches. Andrew Hess came away with the 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6) in the No. 6 match. Danny Marsh brought in the other point for the Panthers with a 7-6, 6-7, 1-0 (10-6) win in the No. 5 match.
Chapman travels to Claremont, Calif. tomorrow to take on fifth-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 10 a.m.
