Hays, Marsh notch come-from-behind victories in loss

ORANGE, Calif. — Men's tennis dropped its third consecutive match, this time a 7-2 loss to No. 5 Williams on Thursday, March 23 at Anderson Tennis Center.

Tommy Hays and Danny Marsh were bright spots on the cloudy day in Orange, winning in come-from-behind fashion in their singles matches. Hays dropped the first set 6-2, but went on to win the second 7-6 and the tie breaker set 10-4. Marsh lost his first set 6-4 then pulled off a 7-6 and 11-9 victories.

The Panthers return to the court on Sunday at the La Quinta Tennis Club where they will take on Wis.-Whitewater.
