Wilkins earns bid to NCAA Individual Championships

ORANGE, Calif. – Caleb Wilkins will compete at the NCAA Division III Individual Men's Tennis Championships, becoming the first Panther to receive a bid to the national tournament since 2009.

Wilkins ended the season ranked fourth in the West Region after another stellar season. With his first two years cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wilkins just missed a bid last season but played his way into the field of 32 individuals this season. Wilkins earned a spot in the national tournament in the Fall and posted a dual record of 8-9 this spring. He went 5-2 in SCIAC play and earned his third All-Conference award.

He becomes the first Panther to compete at the national championship tournament since Clifford Yook in 2009. The draw for the championship will be released on May 17 and the tournament will be played May 18-22 at the UTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
