The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.
Both the men’s and women’s Chapman University tennis teams were recognized for outstanding academic achievement by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Additionally, four student-athletes off the men’s team and five off the women’s team earned individual recognition.
After a career year that ended in the second round of the NCAA Division III Individual Championships, Caleb Wilkins earned All-America recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Wilkins is the first Panther since 2009 to earn the award.

Jesse McMillan
Prior to the final day of the Redlands Last Chance Qualifier, Jesse McMillan sat a few spots outside of the top-22 in the pole vault. Later that day, the junior jumper hit a PR of 4.91 meters, also a school record, to clinch a spot in the NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championships.
