History made as relay team competes at DIII Championships

ORANGE, Calif. – For the first time ever, the Chapman University women's track & field team was represented at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The 4x100m relay team of Khyra Stiner, Kaylee Smith, Zoe Zurasky and Makenna Lizarde made Chapman history when they stepped on to the track.

The Panthers raced in the second heat as one of three SCIAC relay teams to qualify in the event but finished 15th overall with a time of 48.32.

Jesse McMillan will compete in the men's pole vault tomorrow. The competition will begin at 7 a.m. (PT).
