A record number of Chapman student-athletes earn SCIAC All-Academic
July 18, 2022
Chapman University student-athletes set a new school record with 281 individuals earning SCIAC All-Academic recognition. The 281 individuals to earn the annual academic recognition are 22 more than year’s record-breaking number. The SCIAC annually recognizes student-athletes who have been at their institution for at least one academic year and finished the school year with a 3.4 cumulative GPA or better.
Strand and Roggin awarded All-Region 10 honors

On Tuesday, Mar. 15, Chapman’s Jack Roggin and Julia Strand of the men's and women's basketball teams, were awarded All-Region 10 honors.

The Chapman University women’s basketball team defeated the Cal Lutheran Regals 56-51 in a Senior Night battle. Prior to the game, Chapman celebrated its four graduating seniors, Juliana Campas, Julia Strand, Orel Shilon, and Brittany McPherson.

The Chapman women’s basketball team defeated the La Verne Leopards 68-61 in the second to last regular home game of the 2022 season. Senior Julia Strand topped the offensive leaderboard once again with 17 points on the night.
